I’m Rachael, a Melbourne based photographer working across fashion, music, events and portraiture. 

My career began in film. I studied filmmaking and worked within the Australian music scene before moving into advertising as a post producer. Photography brought those worlds together for me, and that experience continues to shape how I approach images today. I love the intersection of storytelling and aesthetics, creating thoughtful visual solutions that feel true to the people and brands behind them.

I’m drawn to bold portraiture and images that capture a feeling, personality, or narrative. My style leans toward clean compositions that feel uncomplicated but striking and emotive, shaped through lighting, styling, and editing. For me, photography is as much about the process as the final image. The energy on set is really important to me so I always aim to create an environment where people feel comfortable, ideas can evolve, and creativity can flow.
